Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk, tech billionaires, have agreed to talk about bitcoin at an event in July.
In an odd Twitter thread Musk replied to a tweet by Dorsey about a promotion called “The B Word”, which encourages institutional investors and companies to adopt bitcoin.
“Bicurious?” “Bicurious?” was the Tesla CEO’s apparent reference to the ‘B” word.
Twitter’s Dorsey responded with: “Bizarre!” Let’s have a conversation with you at the event. All your curiosity can be shared…
Musk was open to it. Musk agreed. Let’s go, very well,’ he replied. Dorsey then responded: “Done!” I will set it up.
According to its website the event will take place on July 21st. It ‘offers a live experience as well as a library of content for the investor community, enabling an informed discussion about how Bitcoin can be used by institutions around the world.
Recent comments from Musk have sent bitcoin investors on a wild ride. In January, the eccentric Tesla boss supported bitcoin and briefly added #bitcoin in his Twitter bio.
He also shared a meme suggesting that he has fallen out with bitcoin.
Musk stated earlier in the month that Tesla would accept cryptocurrency if at least half of bitcoin mining can be done using clean energy.
Bitcoin dropped below $30,000 on Tuesday, temporarily erasing all of its 2021 gains. Although the digital asset has risen to $33,000, it is still below its April record of almost $65,000.
